Schools, safeguarding and early intervention

This evidence summary seeks to address the following question relating to safeguarding children: how can schools support early intervention to prevent children and young people from entering care?

We searched for academic research and grey literature on early intervention and children and young people published within the last five years. This included relevant databases (e.g. ASSIA ), as well as the Iriss National Social Services Search and SCIE Social Care Online .
