National APC Convenors' resources
The Independent Convenors of Adult Protection Committees (APCs) in Scotland lead on multi-agency strategic planning. This is to ensure adults in their Local Authority area are appropriately supported and protected, as outlined in the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007. The resources in this area support new convenors in their role, emphasising the core knowledge and skills needed for their role.
