Brenda Walker

As the National Adult Support and Protection Coordinator for Scotland, Brenda has a real commitment to making adult support and protection (ASP) more effective for both practitioners and the adults themselves.  

Brenda joined the Iriss team in 2022. Prior to this she worked as a Senior Officer for Adult Support and Protection in North Ayrshire for 12 years. She also chaired the Social Work Scotland – ASP Subgroup. Her career previously included work across a range of public and voluntary sector roles focussed on learning development, effective change, policy and practice development and project management.  Brenda has an Executive MBA.
